PRE-Events on Thursday.  3:30 to 6:30 PM   ($40 extra fee)

  • If you are attending a pre-event you can arrive starting at 1:00 PM.

Option #1 (ALL LEVELS):  "Road Trip Remedies" with Sarah Yovovich (Therapeutic)

Join Sarah for three hours of rejuvenation and healing. In this pre-event you'll learn Sarah-Peutics’ favorite flying techniques to release travel-induced tension and build intelligent strength while having fun!  This series has been refined through countless roadtrips, flights, and bus rides, while teaching and playing all over the world. When practiced with precision and playfulness, this flow will undo even the gnarliest travel knots. Sarah will teach you the big moves and the fine tunes to put these toys in your happy nomad toolbelt.

Option #2 (Intermediate/Advanced):  "Acro Master Class" with Lux  (Acrobatic)

Combining intelligent progressions and playful flows, Lux and Alex Mannos have joined forces to create unique new content. Their collaboration is fueled by their shared fascination in the balance of fluid and dynamic movement and the constant evolution of trust and communication in acrobatic partnerships. Integrating these principles, they have developed a series of progressions that they are excited to bring to the NW acro campout to kickstart your weekend.

Through precise calibration and technique refinement, this pre-festival intensive will play with the dance of titillating the brain and challenging the body. Join Lux and Alex for a learning experience that will guide you to reinvent your practice and redefine your abilities. Leave your expectations and ego at the door and you will get the most form this Master Class. Alex and Lux have developed progressions for complicated movements. They will be presented in a way that will help you understand how to choose technique appropriate for your current abilities and future planning.

Prerequisites for Lux's workshop:

  • 1 year of practice (six months with other movement experience)
  • Foot to Hand
  • Reverse Star with one of the base’s legs not connected
